THE PADDOCK PROJECT
As the Marketing Lead for the Paddock Project, I played a key role in advancing the organisation's mission through a multifaceted approach. My responsibilities included scouting funding opportunities to support our initiatives, writing and distributing media releases, and engaging with media outlets to elevate our visibility. A key project I was involved in during my time there was to do a complete redesign of the website using Wix, which not only enhanced our online presence but also aligned it with the brand's vision and strategy.
A key highlight of my tenure was the development of the 'Love' campaign, a creative endeavor that successfully raised over $10,000. This funding was instrumental in restoring the beloved 'Love' sign in the paddock, which had been severely damaged by floods. This campaign not only resonated with our community but also played a large part in the organisation receiving an Access and Inclusion Award from the local council in 2023.
During my time with the Paddock Project, my role also extended to policy development, ensuring compliance with legal obligations under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in collaboration with the CEO, Karen Gross. One of the innovations which I developed and then later implemented, was the creation of an online staff portal. This strategic move streamlined staff training, onboarding processes, and overall operational efficiency.
