Hasbro for the first time brought Playworld to Australia. Enriching kids with the opportunity to become anything they imagine themselves to be. Tasked with the successful implementation and direction of several brand activations, I had the pleasure of working closely with the marketing director of Hasbro Jenny Lacey & head of Star Wars Australia Brant Harvey.
My key role for this event was to ensure all 40 supervisors and event staff were on task and on brand at all times. Furthermore, informing media on branding expectations and guidelines. Stepping in where needed to provide innovative solutions towards traffic control and last minute logistics. Making it on a whole, a pleasant experience.
Star Wars Ultimate fan weekend was one of the biggest Star Wars events Australia has ever seen. As event supervisor it was my responsibility to direct a substantial team of over 30 people in order to build large scale activations such as limescale X-Wing fighter jet . Boasting over 20,000 participants and the chance to represent Disney I was graced to work in conjunction with the Power House Museum curator Damien McDonald & Brant Harvey head of Star Wars Australia.
Strict deadlines were met on account of myself and my teams perseverance towards producing an event we could be proud of and what a success it was. ‘May the 4th be with you’ 2018 I’m confident will be remembered for years to come.
Spring is calling 2018 at Westfield Warringah was a fun loving event for both staff and participants alike. Bringing to life an 80’s roller skating disco rink, only for the weekend. Consumers got to enjoy a bounty of free food, music and skates.
Organising, building and directing this event for TEG in conjunction with Westfield; I carried out a highly anticipated event for skating enthusiasts and eager onlooking shoppers. As a supervisor, I recorded event attendance and responses. Results showed an overwhelming amount of positive feedback, which ultimately is what drew people to this spectacular event from near and far.
This event which was held at Westfield Blacktown spanned over three levels of the shopping centre, with a total of five activations. Parents and children had the opportunity to meet and greet the infamous Lightning McQueen, build their own lego models and race the crazy eights track.
Supervising staff according to branding guidelines is a large part of what it means to represent Disney. This involved educating staff how to best execute tasks in a manner which enhances Disney’s brand image. With over a thousand participants overall positive feedback was estimated to be around an 98% satisfaction. Fantastic results for all.
